A startup volunteer musical organization built around community, geography and the joy of ensemble playing.
The source names Pawleys Island Concert Band, North Myrtle Beach Community Band and Festive Brass of Myrtle Beach as strong ensembles already serving the region. RCB’s motivation is geographic: create a band for Conway and other inland communities and provide local entertainment.
The source also makes clear that the organization was still in a startup stage when indexed, operating as a volunteer musical organization rather than a registered 501(c)(3).
